Program Overview

The Catherine M. Lee Women's & Children's Center helps female immigrants gain skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing English in order to increase their readiness skills for gaining employment and helping their children succeed in school. Children ages 5 and under are welcome to attend early childhood education classes while their mothers attend adult classes.

Space is limited in the children's rooms, so please register on the first day. The Women's and Children's Center is grateful to agencies and organizations that provide other necessary social services to our program participants.

To be eligible, you must participate in the entire program curriculum, which consists of classes 3 mornings per week in five components: English as Second Language (ESL) Employability Skills, Digital Literacy, Parent Education and Tutoring.
