Program Overview

This program will help individuals prepare to take their GED exam. Participants follow a customized program of courses tailored to their individual strengths and weaknesses. With a focus on preparation for taking and passing the State GED test, the instructor administers practice exams and when the individual is ready, a test date and time is arranged through the local school system. GED classes are held Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. In addition to the low-income eligibility guidelines, participants must be residents of Stark County and at least 18 years old.

Cost Info

There is no cost for this program. Applicants simply need to qualify by meeting 125% of the Federal Poverty Guideline. A chart of the guidelines are available at www.sccaa.org
