Program Overview
Pittsylvania County Literacy Program is a free adult literacy program for anyone over the age of 18 living in Pittsylvania County. Our volunteers are available for your literacy goals including GED prep, Reading and Writing improvement, Math, and any other targets set by the students. We have two centers in the county located in Chatham and Gretna and will help you achieve at no costs. In addition we partner with our local Head Start program to provide books and readings to our youngest learners. We always welcome new tutors and new students so contact our program and achieve your goals in a safe, nurturing environment.
Hours of operation: Monday and Wednesday 10 - 3
Cost info: The Pittsylvania County Literacy Program is free of charge to anyone in the county over the age of 18. All materials needed are also provided for free.
