Program Overview
Heritage Training and Career Center proposes to provide adult basic education literacy training, remedial education, GED preparation and job search for 100 individuals in Autauga, Elmore, Macon and Montgomery County. The goals and objectives of this program will be to assist individuals with adult basic education and in obtaining a GED in order that they may obtain jobs that will lead to long term employment. Clients should be emotionally ready for work as well as possess the skills needed to find work and maintain employment. Once clients obtain a GED, we will develop or remediate the skills needed to keep a job and the motivation needed to look for a job. We will address issues which deals with getting to work on time and developing the winning attitude needed to begin building the character to obtain self-sufficiency.
