Program Overview

Paradise Missionary Baptist Church (PMBC) assists individuals that have not been successful in obtaining a high school diploma. These students now understand the importance of receiving an education, but are not in a position to change their circumstances without a helping hand. PMBC has committed to absorbing a great deal of the academic responsibility by offering a free program focused on preparing these students for the G.E.D. exam. Currently, we meet every Saturday and provide instruction in English, Reading, Writing, Math, Social Studies and Science. The only cost incurred is the fee for the exam. There is never a cost associated with exam prep. Our staff works on a voluntary basis. We are looking to improve upon our program by creating a computer lab. The new G.E.D. is completely computerized and our students are not able to prepare in a setting that models technology. Your assistance with our vision of a technological atmosphere will be appreciated.
