Program Overview

Metropolitan State University of Denver serves families through a comprehensive Family Literacy Program and welcomes all second language adult learners with children from pre-ECE through the elementary grades. In neighborhood school sites, the 4-day English life skills curriculum classes integrate National Common Core Standards, include computer instruction, and provide Parent Education. Concurrent preschool classes for young children of enrolled adults, ages 1-5, are offered onsite.

In addition, Spanish GED preparation classes are taught in the evenings and the Parents As Teachers program conducts routine visits to families to improve literacy in the home.

Hours of operation: M-F 9am-5pm
