Program Overview

Literacy Delaware, Inc. is in the business of assisting adults reading at or below a 5th grade reading level and/or adults who do not speak English to significantly improve their literacy skills. We believe literacy has the power to "open minds and change lives".

Mission Statement

Literacy Delaware offers targeted instruction to adults with limited literacy and English language skills. We assist adult learners to realize their potential as confident, self-sufficient, and productive employees, family members and contributors to their communities.

Hours of operation: Mon-Thurs 9-3:30

Cost info: There is an initial registration fee of $10. Learners are asked to purchase their books used for study. Cost of books range from $15-$50.
