Program Overview

ECCRC sponsors Lighthouse Library, a family literacy program that includes many workshops, events, and programs. There are after school programs that feature computers, reading, and fun. Adult basic ed programs include a formal GED Prep program that is both on site & via internet. Assistance with college entrance and high school completion. Licensed tutors/educators. Volunteer opportunities. Thrift shop on site. Outdoor movie theater on site for free family movie nights. Summer reading camps. Writing groups for youth and adults. Writing retreats. Full computer lab. Friday homework group. Study groups. Special reading and literacy workshops. The library has an ocean theme complete with a huge saltwater aquarium. Has a working lighthouse in the courtyard. A fun place for family literacy programs and visitors. Has 21,000 book collection. Offers computer workshops and courses. Robotics for youth. Includes early reading programs for children. Has a food bank on the site.

Hours of operation: M - Sat., 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
