Hilltop High School students continue with their academic education as well as learning parenting skills, healthy baby strategies and useful community resources (including jobs & money management). Our students range from 14-18 and many are learning English as a second language. Young women can start at our school while they are expecting & continue after their baby is born. In 2014, for the first time, we are created a "Kiosk" library that is a dynamic, effective, student-centered library. The collection reflects the curriculum as well as provides personal choice literature & information needs of students (plus free books for home libraries) Special Collections Pregnancy health/parenting; early childhood development; Infant & toddler books; bilingual; student request; crafts & cooking. In this comfortable, inviting space we have rocking chairs and plenty of bilingual infant books for the young moms to share with their little ones.
