Program Overview

Educational Outcomes (EO) is a non-profit organization dedicated addressing depressed social conditions within disadvantaged populations in Montgomery County, Texas.

We concentrate on positive community building projects in cooperation, when feasible and possible, with government and local civic organizations. Focus is given to mitigation of poverty
through educational empowerment.

Access to education is a basic human right. It reduces poverty, recourse to child labor, and offers the tools needed for success in life.

Our GED Prep Courses perform a series of baseline assessments (T.A.B.E & Kaplan Pre-Tests) to ascertain their grade level in the following GED subject areas: Math, Science, Language Arts, and Social Studies. These help staff and volunteers when preparing individual guided instruction.

After assessment we are able to work with your organization's existing volunteer structure to implement a quality regiment of instruction tailored to meet's each student individual needs.

Educational Outcomes provides the infrastructure,
planning and management that allows your organization's client base to reach their educational goals.

It should be understood that our GED Prep courses cannot substitute for deficiencies in a client's educational base. This particular portion of what EO offeres is not a foundational educational program.

Gary Audas Jr. is a certified Texas teacher with a Masters
Degree in Education (Curriculum & Instruction) from Sam Houston State University.

Mission Statement

Educational Outcomes (EO) will address depressed social conditions within disadvantaged populations in the United States and abroad. We will concentrate on positive community building projects in cooperation, when feasible and possible, with government and local civic organizations. Particular focus will be given to the realization of client educational goals, mitigation of hunger, and poverty reduction strategies. Education is the cornerstone of a balanced and fulfilled life. It is, we believe, one of the most pressing issues of the 21st century. When the lack of educational opportunities is combined with the injuries of hunger and poverty a person becomes disengaged from normal growth processes and faces high risks of negative life outcomes. EO will be a source for positive growth strategies, and will supply resources for clients working to achieve the fulfillment of life goals.

Program’s Demographics/Metrics

In 2016 we served 37 clients. All were either aged out foster youth or homeless youth. Of those 37, 13 (35%) have either passed their full GED certification or at least 1 of the subject area tests. 3 were diagnosed with learning disabilities.

We are expending services to the general public and have started receiving referrals from local courts and Conroe ISD.

Success is measured by the student attaining their GED. There is no time limit and as long as the student is willing to work hard we continue to work with them.
