Student and Volunteer Success Stories
I am now able to provide for my family. When I earned my GED, I was able to get a job that paid much more than minimum wage. Without my GED, I would still be relying on others to help me take care of may family.
Between 2002 and 2014, 3,656 students between the ages 16 and 82 participated in the Adult Education program. 515 participants significantly increased TABE scores indicating improvements in reading, 1,273 increased computer literacy skills as measured by the SC Computer Literacy Assessment and 31 participants earned GED's.
