Program Overview

The EKU-Madison Skills U Adult Education Program is here to provide the resources you may need to achieve your educational and career goals.

We offer free GED classes plus additional sessions to support you to become college and career ready.

All classes are free to adults who live or work in Madison County.

Mission Statement

Today, about 350,000 working-age Kentuckians do not have a high school or GED diploma. Our mission is to work with Kentuckians to improve their quality of life through education, training and employment so they can take care of themselves and their families and help their communities' and the state's economies expand and thrive.

Hours of operation: Mon, Wed 8:30AM-8:00PM; Tues, Thurs 8:30AM-5:00 PM; Fri 8:30AM-12:00PM

Program’s Demographics/Metrics

EKU-Madison Skills U serves all adults 18 and older who do not have a high school diploma or GED diploma. If you are a high school graduate and need to improve your reading, math or communication skills, you may be eligible for services.
