ESWA seeks to daily deliver services to individuals and families throughout West Alabama. Our Programs: FUTURE PROMISE YOUTH PROGRAM Investing in our youth through: Academic Improvement GED Preparation Career Planning and Development Mentoring Job Placement Counseling SPEECH THERAPY Improving communication skills, academic achievement, self-esteem, and quality of life NURSE-FAMILY PARTNERSHIP Academic/Employment Achievement for the Mother leading to Self-sufficiency Improving Pregnancy Outcomes through Preventative Health Practices In-home Visits by Easter Seals Nurse Prevent Child Abuse and Neglect PARENT AS TEACHERS Free Activities, Books, and Learning Materials for Families with Children from Birth to Five years Monthly In-home Visits that include Vision, Hearing and Developmental Screenings Guidance to Set and Achieve Personal and Family Goals WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT Job Development in eight counties Vocational Evaluations Supported Employment in Bibb, Pickens, and Tuscaloosa Counties Job Coaching for Tuscaloosa City Schools Transportation Service in Tuscaloosa Banking and BudgetingEducation services
