Program Overview
Each One Teach One provides one on one and small group tutoring to adults performing below 8th grade level in reading, writing or math, adults studying for the GED exam, and adults seeking to improve their English speaking skills. The foundation of our work is the use of caring community volunteers who serve as tutors in two hour tutoring sessions. Each One Teach One staff prepares customized lessons for each adult learner to be delivered by the tutor. Adult learners should call the office to make an appointment to enroll. Persons interested in serving as a volunteer tutor should call Kate Mohr at 210-551-5305.
Hours of operation: Monday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Cost info: One time enrollment fee of $25.
