Program Overview

Through the Adult Education and Literacy Grant provided through the Texas Workforce Commission, San Jacinto College is working with adult immigrants to help them learn to speak, understand, read, and write English to meet self-identified goals and become linguistically self-reliant. In addition we also offer classes to assist students in preparing for the GED or other high school equivalency exams.

Cost Info

Classes through the Adult Education and Literacy Grant enable us to provide ESL, EL Civics, and High School Equivalency (HSE) prep classes free of charge to eligible students at our various community sites.
