Program Overview

The CPLC Workforce Development Center (WDC) has been in operation for over 30 years with a mission is to strengthen the local workforce and help its clients improve their quality of life. The WDC's highly motivated bi-lingual staff help customers with all aspects of obtaining and keeping a job. The WDC serves people in need with services including General Adult Education classes (GED), occupational training, job placements assistance, and support services. The WDC resource room provides our customers access to Internet ready computers, current job listings, job fair information, fax machine, telephone and resume writing assistance. In addition to the self-service aspect of the operation, the WDC also has a strong network of employers, who utilize the services of the WDC to recruit employees. The WDC GED course is a classroom-based program.
