Program Overview

The Alfred Saliba Center for Families is a Non-profit Organization founded in 1994 to assist families in Houston County, Alabama to meet daily needs, improve their life situations, and assist with emergency situations. The Career Designs for Youth (CDY) Program assist individuals age 16-24 to enroll and complete the GED Program of Study. The CDY Program provides assistance in areas such as; transportation to and from GED classes, GED Test payment, GED READY Test payment, GED Tutoring, Career Exploration and Guidance, Post-Secondary Education entrance. The Saliba Center partners with Wallace Community College Adult Education Department in offering GED Classes during the mornings, afternoons, and nights and the center's Lafayette Street location.
