Program Overview
Alachua County Library District's Literacy Program serves adults who are interested in:
-Improving basic reading and writing skills
-Learning English (for non-native speakers)
-Improving literacy skills in Spanish (in preparation for entering a traditional English learning program).
In addition, the Literacy Program holds an annual Community Learning Conference. This free professional development event is open to anyone interested in the success of adult non-traditional learners.
