As a supplemental education service provider to K-12 students, we have learned that parents have struggled to assist their kids with their education because of their personal struggles with literacy and computer skills. In order for us to be successful, we now assist parents to become proficient in reading and on the computer.
We offer literacy courses and computer training to parents that aid them in assisting their kids beyond the classroom. We do this by preparing them with skills to read and write, with classes to take and successfully pass GED courses.
In addition to these services, we are now making basic computer training courses available to parents that allows them to be proficient with basic computer skills to navigate the internet, review their kids progress on the county school portal, write a resume and search for employment.
Our belief is that to build the child, the parent must also possess the necessary skills that gives them confidence and access to resources so they may be a positive influence in the upbringing of their child.
